The California State Railroad Museum of California

One of the famous and world’s largest railway museums is the California State Railroad. You will find this museum in Old Sacramento.

This museum has an estimated floor area of 200,000 square feet. In this museum the key attraction that you will enjoy is the 19th centuries steam locomotives.

Along with this, you will explore various wagons and sleeper class cars inside the museum. This museum has become one of the most visited tourist places in Old Sacramento.

One more thing inside the museum is that you’re going to enjoy walking through the sleeper cars.

You’ll find dining arrangements in some of the sleeper cars that show how luxurious these sleeper cars were back then.

If you’re planning to travel with your family, take them to this museum. There is a special education program for children, which allows you to take your children to participate in the activities.

I’m sure they’re going to enjoy and learn something from the activity. On my way to Old Sacramento, I found several other museums that I’m going to share with you.

The next museum I explored was quite exciting where I took an underground tour to the Sacramento History Museum.

The Sacramento History Museum

After visiting the Railroad Museum, I headed towards another historical museum. Here I took an underground tour with a group of tourists, and truly the museum was really worth visiting.

This museum has a collection of different historical remnants which shows the city’s history how the citizens had tackled the floods during that time.

When you will enter the museum, you will be guided through a three-quarter mile tour where you will find a 200 yards underground area.

One more exciting activity is there for adults who are above 21 years. In this show, you will find about murder, madness, etc.

After visiting the museum, I went on a tour of the American River Trail, which was a wonderful place to enjoy the landscapes of the river.

The American River Trail

The American River Trail will offer you a paved path where you can take a walk, or you can go for a bike tour to enjoy the beautiful landscapes.

This place is a part of the Country Regional Park System, and the path connects Folsom and Old Sacramento.

While travelling on this path I enjoyed the journey on horseback riding and the spectacular landscape. The whole path is well-maintained which gives a peaceful and fulfilling experience while travelling.

This whole journey is about 32-miles, however, you need not cover the whole distance because there are multiple entries and exits.

Enjoy the Beautiful Parks

In addition you can enjoy many different parks which are connected to the American River Trail.

The major parks which you can enjoy while traveling along the river are the Discover Park, River Bend Park, and River Walk Park.

If you ever visit Sacramento never forget to take a tour to the American River Trail, I am sure you will enjoy this place.

The Thrilling Skydive

If you have ever dreamt of skydiving, then you need to go out of the city which is only 15 mins away from Sacramento.

Head to Yolo County Skydiving Airport and there are many experienced professionals who will help and take you to a thrilling skydiving experience.

The Sacbrew Bike Trip

The Sacbrew Bike trip is really fun to enjoy with friends. You will be traveling with a group of 15 members on the trip and you can find nearby beers along the way.

Make sure to take water bottles and some food with you because you need to paddle the bike. You will enjoy this ride if you travel with your friends.

Food Tour in Sacramento’s Downtown

The city’s one-day food visit is awesome in the light of the fact that Sacramento is packed with nearby food outlets offering a range of dinners, craft beers and cheeses.

At the point when you book a food trip, a guide will take you to different locations, and you’ll find a network of nearby ranches. The expense of your meal will be included in your visit to this food trip.

This is an incredible way to explore the food of Sacramento, and in the event that you ever visit, I’m telling you to travel to this place.
